
Jungeun Elle Kim is a project archivist who enjoys working with her clients to create innovative and meaningful archives. Before relocating to the midwest in 2017, she was employed as an archivist at the Library of Congress (Washington, DC) and at the Friedheim Library of the Peabody Institute of Johns Hopkins University (Baltimore, MD). Born and raised in South Korea, She holds two Bachelors’ degrees (in Double-Bass Performance and Art History) from Seoul National University as well as two Masters’ degrees in Musicology (from Seoul National University and Johns Hopkins University). She received her Master of Science degree from the School Library and Information Science of University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Jungeun Elle Kim was employed by the Deering Library of Northwestern University as a Music Collections Specialist until 2022. Beyond her career as an archivist, she is an avid ballet dancer, painter, chef, and the mother of two wonderful children.

- Created metadata and managed image processing for the Conservatory Class Photographs, Peabody Conservatory Bulletin, the Leon Fleisher Collection, and the Joe Bird Collection.
